The Center for Space Nuclear Research (CSNR) is now accepting applications for its 10-week Summer Fellowship Program! As a CSNR Summer Fellow you will have the opportunity to work with first-class scientists at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). Teams of Fellows will work to complete a research project of current interest to NASA in potential nuclear technology performance. Stipends are offered to cover living and travel expenses. Student interns are needed to assist on Research Day 1 (Tuesday April 1, 2014), 8:00am-2:00pm (lunch provided). Activities include coordinating poster presentation of undergraduate researchers and serving as liaison to faculty judging teams and administrative staff. The J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Public Service Awards were established at The George Washington University to support and encourage young Americans who undertake voluntary public service. The Awards offer a unique opportunity for students to receive tuition support while deepening their involvement in the field. Awardees commit to 300 hours or more of unpaid service at a non-profit organization, institution or government office of their choice.
