USA SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING FAIR – STEM EVENT

BMES will be exhibiting at the 3rd Annual Science and Engineering Fair and needs volunteers for the event. Volunteers will have a chance to inspire people to pursue science and engineering and inform the public (especially high school students) about BME career options and STEM careers. The Expo will be held for 2 days from April 26-27th 2014 at the Walter E. Convention Center. Volunteers will be performing the following activities:
- assisting with hands-on display
- getting interested high school students and the public excited about biomedical engineering
- telling the public about your undergraduate experience as a biomedical engineering major
Volunteers will be provided with:
- Festival Registration
- Paid Lunch
- 2 volunteers per 4 hr shift
You will have the opportunity to discuss your career choice, why you chose it, and nature of your biomedical engineering training.
